Those who are anti-annexation and anti-municipal government are
working hard to make their points to legislators. Registration deadline for NCLM Town Hall Day is Thursday, April 26. Register online at www.nclm.org Cost is $30 per municipal official and $15 per guest. Town Hall Day Details Officials can attend one of the two morning briefings (10 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.) to learn the latest developments on municipal legislative issues. Shuttle buses will be available after the briefings to take participants to the Legislative Building to meet with representatives and senators (or attendees may walk the two blocks to the Legislative Building). The barbecue lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the NCLM offices, and municipal officials are asked to bring the legislators to lunch. The NCLM offices are a short, two-block walk down Jones Street to the corner of Dawson and Jones streets. Shuttle buses also will be available. Reynolds Building. Parking around the Legislative Building is very limited. For your convenience, we have arranged complimentary parking at the Quorum Center parking deck, which is at the corner of Harrington and Jones Streets. Entrance to the parking deck is on Harrington Street. A parking placard will be mailed to you along with your name badge. Please place the parking placard in the windshield of you vehicle or tell the parking attendant you are here for NCLM Town Hall Day. |
