You can:

Call, Write, E-Mail, and Personally visit your Legislators.

Ask them to personally visit you and a local group of citizens who oppose FORCED annexation.

Ask them to sponsor legislation AND work to keep the Bill moving to the legislative floor for a vote.

Ask your local County Commissioners (Find Contact info Here) and Municipal government elected officials to pass resolutions against unfair involuntary annexation and share that resolution with the State Legislators.

us for information about other groups from around the state that have faced or are facing annexation and find out what they are doing to fight Involuntary Annexation.
- Attend your local Town, City Council, and County board meetings
and speak at the Public Speaks Out session of the agenda
- Organize rallies and protests of municipalities planning involuntary annexation. Make signs and call your local media to inform them of these events and gather as many supporters as you can find to let these elected officials know you think involuntary annexation is unfair and does not allow you a voice in the decision to annex your property.
